Terms of Service
Effective date: 14 June 2026 · Last updated: 22 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and MrT Stephens ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of My Wedding Invite (the "Service"). They govern your access to and use of the Service, including the website, dashboard, and any invitation pages you publish through it.
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who We Are
The Service is operated from the United Kingdom by MrT Stephens. You can reach us at mrtstephens123@gmail.com for any questions about these Terms, your account, or billing.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account. By registering you confirm that:
- the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date;
- you are legally able to enter into this agreement; and
- you are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, including any passkeys or linked sign-in methods. Tell us promptly at mrtstephens123@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
The Service
My Wedding Invite lets you design wedding invitation pages and manage the surrounding logistics. Depending on your plan, this may include:
- building and publishing invitation pages with your own text, images, story, schedule, venue details, notes, and FAQs;
- managing a guest list, including primary guests, plus-ones, and arrival times;
- collecting RSVPs by invited email address or mobile number, along with meal selections and messages — and, where you choose to enable it, letting guests who are not yet on your list add their own details when they respond;
- creating shareable links and seeing how often they are viewed;
- inviting other registered users to view or help manage an invite;
- planning seating arrangements and exporting the layout;
- sending invitations and reminders by email; and
- exporting guest and response data to spreadsheet files.
We may add, change, or remove features over time. Some features may be offered as previews and can be modified or withdrawn without notice.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any applicable law or infringe anyone's rights;
- upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that you do not have the right to share;
- send unsolicited or unlawful messages, or contact guests who have not consented or who have asked not to be contacted;
- distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts, or interfere with the operation of the Service; or
- scrape, resell, or misuse the Service or other users' data.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and we may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload — including text, images, guest lists, and messages ("Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and display), and distribute Your Content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you. This licence ends when you delete the relevant content or close your account, except for copies we must retain to meet legal obligations or that remain in routine backups for a limited period.
You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights and permissions necessary to upload and use it.
Guest Data and Your Responsibilities
When you upload personal data about your guests (such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers), you are the data controller for that information and we act as your data processor, handling it on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for:
- having a lawful basis to collect and share your guests' personal data with us;
- providing your guests with any privacy information they are entitled to; and
- ensuring you have an appropriate reason to contact your guests by email or message.
If you enable self-registration, or invite other registered users to collaborate on an invite, you remain responsible for the guest data submitted through, or accessed within, your invite in the same way as data you upload yourself.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data, and the Acceptable Use section above sets limits on how the messaging features may be used.
Plans, Payment, and Refunds
Some features are free and others may require a paid plan. Where a feature is paid, the price, billing frequency, and payment terms will be shown to you before you purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are quoted inclusive of any applicable taxes.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in line with your statutory rights. If you have a billing question or wish to request a refund, contact mrtstephens123@gmail.com.
Availability and Disclaimers
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every requirement. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important data, for example by using the export features before key dates.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and templates (but excluding Your Content) — belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms, and you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except where the law allows.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, for hosting, email delivery, and image storage) and may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of their services may be subject to their own terms.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, goodwill, or data; and
- our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £50.
The Service is intended for organising personal events. We are not liable for losses arising from your business use of the Service.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your handling of your guests' personal data.
Term and Termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination we will, where practicable, give you an opportunity to export Your Content. We may retain certain data where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where practicable, notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, and you may have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
